Daddy was an architect and I loved to watch him draw. Mama majored in religion and minored in art. She pointed out beauty everywhere and to the One who created it. She was a great story teller and writer. I’m a mix of both of course, but I spent far more time with my mom. This is how my story begins.

Having two creative parents, the odds were I would also be creative. I have always been an artist. When I was little my sister would threaten to break my crayons when I was asleep. (We still laugh about that!) My obsession with art supplies began when I was very young. I guess you could say the first piece of art I sold was a drawing a neighbor bought for a nickel. We were only asking a penny so it made a lasting impression on little me. I am thankful that what I believe is a God-given ability has become a small business for over 20 years and counting.

I invite others to look closer with me and celebrate the profound beauty revealed in simplicity. To experience wonder in the world that surrounds us and is often overlooked. To find peace and connection. To be still.

I paint the world as I see it with careful thought and detail. My oil paintings, prints, and gift collection are created from my heart. It is an honor to have collectors that fill their homes or share my work that speaks to them. My love language is gift giving so naturally I find it most rewarding when my art is shared. 

My painting style is contemporary realism with a modern twist and it is versatile to fit any decor, whether it be blended with beautiful heirlooms or something minimalistic.
